Fourteen recipes are recorded from the 240-build guide. The 280 build added a Candy biome, and no source we found has published the Candy recipes yet, so a pair you expect may simply be missing here.
Why the machine is the last thing you touch
The Merge Machine sits behind a found-count gate of 70 animals, and several recipes need animals that are themselves gated: Sabertooth wants the cannon-unlocked Walrus, Galaxy Wolf and Crystal Elk want chest dragons, and Leviathan wants two Cave animals. Filling the merge list is therefore the tail of a run, not the middle of it.
Because a hybrid counts as its own entry, the 13 recorded recipes are part of how a collection reaches the total in the title. That also means a player stuck at a round number is often missing hybrids, not map animals.

Ticking an animal means you own it. The picker lists the same names as the tracker, so you can walk the list in the order you found them.

A recipe marked Ready only means both parents are ticked. It does not check the 70-animal gate, so read your HUD before you walk to the machine.
What this planner cannot tell you
The fourteen recipes come from a written guide for the 240 build. The 280 build added a Candy biome and 40 animals, and no source we could verify has published the Candy merge list. If you expect a pair that is missing here, the honest answer is that we do not know it yet.
One more name to clear up: in this build Megalodon is a hybrid from Hammerhead and Whale. Guides that describe a Megalodon spawning in an ocean on a timer are writing about the older game with the same name.
