Find The Animals

Grass Biome Animal Locations

Checked

The Grass biome is the starting zone in Find The Animals [280]. Builder records catalogue 49 distinct animal entries here out of 259 total roster entries. While many early picks sit near pond banks and umbrellas, gated creatures require morph size limits, interactive chests, or keypads. Track morphs on /animals or compare zones on /biomes.

The loop for a biome run

Clear the Grass zone methodically to avoid backtracking across the fields.

  1. Sweep the central pond and beach umbrellas for open ground spawns.
  2. Visit the community booth near spawn to pick up the free Griffin Secret morph.
  3. Check cage bars for the Mandrill gate, switching to a small morph to slip through.
  4. Climb toward the Sky Stable structure to locate the keypad terminal.
  5. Search meadows for interaction chests and the Grass Biome Vault gem.

Caution: Do not skip base Grass animals. Late-game hybrid recipes on /wiki require parents like Crocodile, Brown Bear, and Gorilla.

Grass gates, quests and chests

Animal What to do Notes
Mandrill Slip through cage bars marked Smaller Animal Required! Requires small morph
Pegasus Enter code on the Sky Stable keypad Keypad code 5684, written along the trunk staircase wall. The stable is a Treehouse structure, so this one sits on the edge of the Grass route (walkthrough notes file Pegasus under Treehouse).
Feathered Serpent Interact with chest Click chest 40 times (recorded in Grass on builder list, Treehouse in walkthrough notes)

These three animals represent the interactive gate, keypad, and chest counters recorded for Grass in verified [240] build records. Other open-field animals in Grass can be collected directly on contact without prerequisite triggers.

What is not confirmed for Grass

For entries marked Not confirmed yet, the precise hiding spot has no confirmed public source. Treat them as exploratory targets across the grass knolls and pond edges.

Warning on search overlaps: If you are searching for Axolotl, Melanoid Axolotl, Jerboa, Kingfisher, or a Jungle biome, that query matches the other game with the same name. In the 280 build there is no Jungle biome.

How to read your count in game

Track your ongoing progress through the interface:

  • The top HUD displays your collection count, reading Found: x/240 in the [240] build record.
  • Touching an animal triggers a popup with its name, rarity, and a Morph! button.
  • Found entries enter your Index. For missing slots, consult /guides/last-animals.

If you want to check a spot against real footage, the list source is YulyOnRoblox's Grass biome run. Timestamps in that description mark the start of each group, not each animal.
